It is Holy Saturday. We wait. We have remembered, all week, the passion of our Master Jesus, the Messiah. He is in the tomb and we wait. Tomorrow we will celebrate His great triumph but today we wait.
It is a holy week. And today, we wait. Just as they waited after that fateful day so long ago.
The women who had been companions of Jesus from Galilee followed along. They saw the tomb where Jesus’ body was placed. Then they went back to prepare burial spices and perfumes. They rested quietly on the Sabbath, as commanded. Luke 23:55-56 (The Message Bible)
