Sometimes we just don’t know where our best stuff is going to go. Throwing a knuckleball is tough. It is a great and very effective pitch. It is at it’s core difficult to control. Work and life is that way.

And … it is ok we don’t know where our best pitch is going! We do know it will work. So we throw it any way.

“He (Hoyt Wilhelm) had the best knuckleball you’d ever want to see. He knew where it was going when he threw it, but when he got two strikes on you, he’d break out one that even he didn’t know where it was going.” – Brooks Robinson
