The peace of Jesus
A friend sent me this quote. I have reading it over and over.
I love to plan. Excessive planning violates God’s goal for my life. Jesus challenges me to trust God, not my ability to plan.
“You will not find My Peace by engaging in excessive planning: attempting to control what will happen to you in the future. This is a commonly practiced form of unbelief. When your mind spins with multiple plans, Peace may sometimes seem to be within your grasp; yet it always eludes you. Just when you think you have prepared for all possibilities, something unexpected pops up and throws things into confusion.
I did not design the human mind to figure out the future. That is beyond your capability. I crafted your mind for continual communication with Me. Bring Me all your needs your hopes and fears. WOW! Pat and i talk about this all the time! I LOVE this one Michael, thank you for posting it! How very very literal this is. We also have much to much “knowledge”. It was that “moment in time” when the 'Tree of Knowledge, Of Good And Bad” was picked from that corrupted life as it was “designed to be”. God also did not design us to have all this knowledge as we take in today, He designed us to have the knowledge only He brings forth. Again, bringing us, providing us as it states in your blog above….with HIS Peace. Awesome God He is! :-))!
