Why Worry?

Why Worry?

Oh man, this hits home with me. I think a lot. I am a thinker. So, I think about what I am going to say.

I rehearse things in my mind. Maybe this goes back to my acting and speaking training. So yes … I worry about how or what I am going to say.

I need to trust that my heavenly Father will give me what I need to say. His Spirit speaks in me.

So if it is His Spirit speaking in my, why would I worry?

Here are the key ideas:

  1. God is in charge and will give us the words to say.
  2. Our job is to trust in God.
  3. God loves us and will take care of us.

Do not worry about how or what you are to say ; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say. For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. Matthew 10:19-20
