Jesus, the Messiah, and our Master, challenges us to be radical in our love for God. Do I want to be embraced by our Father? Is He the dearest thing in my life? How can I get to that place every day?

I will be more than happy (blessed) when I have lost everything that I think is important to me in this world for Jesus. Jesus doesn’t exclude anything on the list. Not family, possessions, not anything. That is our Messiah’s challenge to us. Give it up for Him. Seriously.

That is what Jesus requires. That brings us true happiness. His happiness.
