Kingdom of God

Kingdom of God

We either live in the government (kingdom) of condemnation or the government of affirmation. We get to choose. Jesus, the anointed Messiah (King).

Jesus is in charge of this government. Jesus isn’t elected. God appointed him ruler. Jesus doesn’t condemn us. Jesus gives us life. There is a huge contrast in the old government and the new. The new government is vastly better. Jesus will be in charge for all of eternity.

If the Government of Condemnation was impressive, how about this Government of Affirmation? Bright as that old government was, it would look downright dull alongside this new one. If that makeshift arrangement impressed us, how much more this brightly shining government installed for eternity? 2 Corinthians 3:9-11
