Even Jesus the Messiah – God the Son – consulted with God the Father before doing anything. How much more should we consult with him before any action?

How much do I need to budget for groceries? Let me consult with my Father.
Should I go to the party I was invited to after church? Let me consult with my Father.
Should I work in this ministry or serve in that way? Let me consult with my Father.

I do nothing without consulting the Father……

I fear that too often we press on, at times in the best case, asking God’s blessing on the direction we’re already pursuing, or that which aligns with our desires. My experience is that waiting on the Father’s guidance brings me to results far better than I could ever have imagined. His ways are higher than my way and His thoughts higher than my thoughts. A helpful reminder, Michael.
