Jesus didn’t come to make our lives easy. Most are enemies of God and his plan. Most days it will be tough. Our family may mock us and turn against us.
Jesus, the Messiah, challenges us to stand up for him. His promise is that he will stand up for us. That is all that matters. Jesus takes our case to his Father.
Stand up for me against world opinion and I’ll stand up for you before my Father in heaven. If you turn tail and run, do you think I’ll cover for you?
