Why blame me? Great question. We aren’t doing God any favors by continuing to miss the mark when it comes to His plan.
It doesn’t give God any glory to not walk in the good news of His plan and continue to fall short of His goal for us.
- I can’t slander God by pretending that evil does good.
- That is not the way of Jesus, our Messiah.
- I must stand up for good regardless of what it means to me personally.
God wants us to follow His way. It is that simple.
It’s simply perverse to say, “If my lies serve to show off God’s truth all the more gloriously, why blame me? I’m doing God a favor.” Some people are actually trying to put such words in our mouths, claiming that we go around saying, “The more evil we do, the more good God does, so let’s just do it!” That’s pure slander, as I’m sure you’ll agree.
