How do we become wise? As we follow God, seek His ways, listen to Him, we need to store it up.
It seems so easy with technology, blogging, twittering, and Facebook to just throw stuff out there. It comes our way and off it goes. No storing up and just a fountain of quick, random thoughts.
God’s way is build and layer on top of truth. When we store up knowledge of His ways, we become wise.
God has a goal for me. It doesn’t involve being a fool. God wants me to be wise. My job is to store up knowledge of him.
May I store up knowledge and be wise in His ways.
“Wise men store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin.” ~~King Solomon (Proverbs 10:14)

I so agree with you, Michael; the stuff placed upon Face Book and the like are nothing more than quick fixes of which are designed to achieve “likes” and not providing knowledge or wisdom….
How unfortunate it is that most post on FB or twitter are for self righteousness and vanity and not for converting the unbeliever.
Thank you Michael for sharing. It is greatly appreciated.
May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless you and yours.
Yours in Christ;
Michael

Yes, I often feel this way. Sometimes I even go out of my way to explain to people why they need to be more careful with what they share. Sometimes they don’t even realize the deeper meaning behind a quote they plastered on their wall.
