Religious Fraud

It is a fairly reasonable question. We come to Jesus. From our religious culture and upbringing we ask “What must we do to gain favor with God?”

We have been told our whole life, go to church, pray, fast, and be religious. The focus is on doing. It is more that just a religious culture. It is the way of life in America.

So, what does God require? What does Jesus want from me? Good question.

Jesus wants me to work at believing in Him. It is all about the relationship with him and not what I do. I must believe.

That leads to His new plan. His mission will fill us when we know He cares for us.

Then they asked him, ‘What must we do to do the works God
Jesus answered, ‘The work of God is this: to believe in the
one he has sent.’ (John 6:26-29 NIV)
