James knew this. If I’m honest, I can admit it as well. I don’t always know what I am doing. I may be doing what I think is “right”. Do I know that is what God wants me to do? Not really because I haven’t asked.

The key is to talk with God about it. The good news is that Jesus doesn’t turn a deaf ear. He actually loves to help.

God is in a good mood. He really cares and He wants the best for me.

Our side of this is when I know God’s plan, I have to act on it.

I have to believe it is the right thing. Worry and unbelief will kill my  direction. I can’t be double minded. Focus is so very important.

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open. James 1:5 MSG
