Is Jesus a respectable religious leader?
- Jesus is not interested in being a “respectable religious leader”. He is not Mr. Rogers with a beard. Jesus is powerful and very direct. Jesus challenges me every day.
- Jesus is in charge of everything. Seriously. Believe it. God has given everything over to Jesus. There is not a thing Jesus isn’t in charge of.
- All Jesus does is what He sees the Father doing. His power and authority come from God. Jesus is obedient and challenges me to do what God desires. That is mainly to find a way to love.
May I know that God is God.
Jesus does what He sees the Father doing.
May I do the same.

Mr. Rogers with a beard. I rather imagines the Pharisees or the Sadducees wished He had been Mr. Rogers.
