Here are three steps. It is interesting in that Solomon links not reacting with forgiving and forgetting.
- Don’t react and say it. Just “hold my tongue”.
- BU. Whether what they say is true or not, I can forgive what they say.
- Forget. It is much easier to not react if it is the “first time” someone says something we don’t like. Forgetting makes that happen.
