Jesus is clear with his directions to me. I must take them seriously. I don’t think Jesus wants to be ignored.

Jesus has a goal for me. To begin with, I should focus on bringing the message to those Christians (believers) around me. Later I may go other places but to begin with, start close to home.

Amazingly, there are plenty in my neighborhood who are lost and confused. My mission is to tell them that Jesus is in control of God’s country (kingdom).

Jesus will give me the power for a miraculous life. That kind of life is normal. I have some friends who start the message out by asking if they can pray for the other person. Yes, they say, I have a headache. They pray for them. That is all it takes.

God is in a good mood. Jesus treats me generously. My goal is to live generously and give back what I have been given.

Jesus sent his twelve harvest hands out with this charge:

Don’t begin by traveling to some far-off place to convert unbelievers. And don’t try to be dramatic by tackling some public enemy. Go to the lost, confused people right here in the neighborhood. Tell them that the kingdom is here. Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. You have been treated generously, so live generously.
