Jesus invites me to picture what God’s kingdom is like. Jesus wants me to understand Him as King of the country of God.

In many of the stories (parables) that Jesus uses, he uses a seed. The Kingdom of God starts out small in me. His rule as Master starts small and grows.

As a disciple of Jesus, I learn. I don’t start out mastering things.

Am I growing in my faith and love? I will reap what is sown.

How can we picture God’s kingdom? What kind of story can we use? It’s like a pine nut. When it lands on the ground it is quite small as seeds go, yet once it is planted it grows into a huge pine tree with thick branches. Eagles nest in it.

~Jesus | Mark 4:30-32 (The Message Bible)

Am I seeing a kingdom in which Jesus is in complete control and has absolute authority? Is that how I picture God’s kingdom?
