Jesus is Life

I can’t deny Jesus. It is very, very dangerous. I have been warned by Jesus.

I don’t want Jesus to deny me. I want Jesus to say “Well done, my good and faithful slave.”

Belief in Jesus is accompanied by a sense of accountability to Him. So, to escape the condemnation of conscience, which itself was created by God, some simply deny the existence of Jesus.

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels. ~Jesus | Mark 8:38

Deniers tell themselves, “There is no overseer of the world. There is no Judgment Day. I can live as I please.” The moral pull of the conscience is thus more easily ignored.

To deny the Messiah is to be denied by the Messiah: Trying to convince oneself that Jesus didn’t exist or He is not the the anointed King is like the point of “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God’”.

It is that it is an impious, sinful heart that will deny Jesus and God. The atheist’s or agnostic’s denial flies in the face of much evidence to the contrary, including his own conscience and the universe he lives in.
