Pray
I’m asking my friends for prayers today.
I have chronic Atrial fibrillation (aka AFIB). It is an irregular heartbeat. It reduces your heart’s ability to pump blood through your body, which means you do not get enough oxygen.
I’ll be having a medical procedure known as cardioversion. My doctor will deliver an electrical shock through two paddles. One is placed on my chest and the other on my back. The shock lasts less than a second, and briefly stops my heart rhythm and then resets it.
They can’t get the AFIB under control by medication, hence the cardioversion. This is the third time. The previous two, it worked for a while and then then the AFIB returned.
Thanks for your prayers. They are much appreciated.
Praying with and for you, brother ❤️❤️

Praying, Michael. I’ve lived with chronic AFIB for over 25 years. Because of valve damage, cardioversion is not an option. At this point, I wouldn’t know what a normal rhythm was.

Sorry for the delayed response but somehow this got caught in spam. The procedure worked, for now. This is third time so hopefully this time it will stay in rhythm. I am praying for you as well.

Thanx for the prayers. I’m content to live with chronic a-fib. It’s the rat poison that I take that to prevent clots that bother me.

Brother Michael I’m praying for you and for this procedure to work; It sounds very risky and I’m praying for your safety and life with that as well. Keep us posted when you can, love you in Christ!

Thanks for all the prayers. God is so very good. The procedure was successful in that they stopped my heart and restarted it back into a normal rhythm. The next challenge is to maintain the rhythm. In the past, after a short period of time, I have gone back into AFIB.
Again, thanks for all the prayer and support.
Blessings, grace and peace.
