There are many people today who know about the moral code (law of God) established by God in the Old Agreement. There are many who don’t know about Jesus and what He has to say about the law of God. Missing God’s goal (aka sin) is still sin.
If I know the law of God and sin I will be judged accordingly. Can I be content to only hear and know what God’s goal for me is? Nope. I must act on what I know. I must do what Jesus commands. Doing is what makes a difference with God.
When atheists and agnostics, who have never heard of God’s law follow it more or less by instinct, they confirm its truth by their obedience. We know we shouldn’t murder. Besides the fact it is “the law”, we know in our hearts it is wrong.
The God-deniers and God-haters show that God’s law is not something alien, imposed on us from without, but woven into the very fabric of our creation.
There is something deep within us that echoes God’s yes and no, right and wrong. Our response to God’s yes and no will become public knowledge on the day God makes his final decision about every man and woman.
The Message from God that we proclaim through Jesus the Messiah takes into account all these differences. God is God and God will judge fairly. Our job is to make known that when we don’t obey, there is a penalty for that. Jesus paid the penalty.
I am free of my debt and I must obey my Master Jesus. That is all that matters.

“There is something deep within us that echoes God’s yes and no, right and wrong.”
Completely wrong, we have evolved with the human traits we have today with the sole purpose of survival. Human beings, as with any animal on Earth beginning with our ancestors, they have understood the requirements of social interventions and moral standards required to maintain the species and provide a safer existence.
We humans are still evolving with our morals and values. Today we accept all races, colours, genders, ideologies and faiths without discrimination, apart of course from fanatics driven by doctrines.

Good article. As Jeremiah told the people the New Covenant will written on your hears! That’s why every human knows it.

“When atheists and agnostics, who have never heard of God’s law follow it more or less by instinct, they confirm its truth by their obedience. We know we shouldn’t murder. Besides the fact it is “the law”, we know in our hearts it is wrong.” This is just an attempt to claim all good people are “really” Christians. Sorry, no. Your need to lie about people doesn’t show that there is a god at all. People have no problem being decent, and they don’t need your version of your god. We are taught how to act by those who raised us. We certainly don’t follow your god’s horrible laws like murdering homosexuals, forcing a woman to marry her rapist, or abandoning our families and loving this god more than them.
It is curious that you make this claim about atheists and agnostics but not other believers. It’s also curious that you say it is wrong to murder but your god does it repeatedly. Does this mean your god is evil? Or if you prefer, is it good that someone controls another person’s mind? Or requires slaves to remain with people who harm them? If you accept murder, or any of the other things from your god just because it is god, then your morals are subjective, based only on what something is, not a objective idea.
