Jesus is King

Now here is a good word. God, our most High God, is stunning. So is His Son Jesus. So is the Holy Spirit.

I should stand up, applaud and shout Bravo. I should shout for joy. I should be ecstatic.

Jesus is a great King, in charge of God’s country (aka Kingdom of God). King Jesus’ eternal sovereignty has been established. God has elevated Him to the place of honor.

The kingdom of God is the rule of an eternal, sovereign God over all the universe. Several passages of Scripture show that God is the undeniable Monarch of all creation:

“The MASTER has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all” (Psalm 103:19).
As King Nebuchadnezzar declared, “His kingdom is an eternal kingdom” (Daniel 4:3).
Every authority that exists has been established by God (Romans 13:1). So, in one sense, the kingdom of God incorporates everything that is.
