Pleasing God

King David is being chased by Saul. He is hiding in a cave. He is in a very tough spot. Saul wants to kill him. Imagine living in a cave. Yikes!

In other translations, it reads “My heart is confident, God, my heart is confident.”

Now that is powerful. We all have challenges in our life. I want to be confident in God. I want to be ready. I can be through the power of the Holy Spirit. God is in a good mood. God has a plan. I need to relax and let God make His plan happen.

I’m ready, God, so ready, ready from head to toe, ready to sing, ready to raise a tune: “Wake up, soul! Wake up, harp! wake up, lute! Wake up, you sleepyhead sun!” ~King David | Psalm 57:7-8

When I am confident in God and ready to take on the challenges in my life, I express that in praise. Praise and thanksgiving the life of the disciple of Jesus. I am to rejoice! I am to be glad! God is God and God is good.
