During the times of the Old Testament world, there were a lot of things that weren’t really clear. They were mysteries to some extent. Some of the prophets caught glimpses of the revelation of Jesus and truth. They spoke them to the people and wrote them down.

When Jesus came, it all burst into the open. I am so thankful that Jesus is the truth and pulled down the covering of the mystery of God. Jesus shows me who God is. I don’t have to be in the dark. I am in the light of the truth of Jesus. That is amazing. I can know who God is through Jesus.

God wants everyone to know the truth of Jesus. It is now a up to us to reveal the rich and glorious secret inside and out. It doesn’t matter who it is, I must show everyone I can who Jesus is. Showing the truth of Jesus shows everyone who God is.

So what is the mystery that we now know? The essence of it is that the Messiah Jesus is in me and all of us who are His disciples. That fact gives me hope for the glory I will share with all the saints. It is simple. It isn’t complex. I can understand that.

The good news I hear from Jesus the Messiah is the message I must proclaim.

Jesus, the eternal Son of God, came to us. He revealed to us who God is. He died for us to redeem us from the penalty of missing God’s goals. He was resurrected from the dead into an incorruptible body. He ascended to heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God, back in His place of authority as the anointed King, Priest and Prophet of God.

That is the good news message. I can’t add to it or take away from it. My job is to make it is known to everyone I can.

I clearly need to mature in the basics of the good news. I need to work hard, day after day, year after year. I must press on. I must not give up. I have to do my best with the energy God so generously gives me.
