Wait patiently for the Lord
Am I confused with trying to be fast rather than being correct? God is patient. God is not in a hurry. Too many days I am way to hasty. I am focused on getting it done versus getting it right. God’s timing is always perfect.
Ignorant zeal is worthless; haste makes waste. | Proverbs 19:2
Then there is the issue of ignorant zeal. Being zealous isn’t the issue. Passion is informed by the knowledge of God and His plan. Many times the religious elites of the Jewish people were ignorant in their zeal. Jesus called them out on this constantly.
Consider what the Apostle Paul says:
I can testify about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. Since they are ignorant of the righteousness of God and attempted to establish their own righteousness, they have not submitted to God’s righteousness. For the Messiah is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, since Moses writes about the righteousness that is from the law: The one who does these things will live by them. | Romans 10:2-5 (CSB)
Paul knew what he was talking about. A religious elite himself (a Pharisee), in his zeal he relentlessly persecuted followers of the Way of Jesus. He held the coats of those who stoned Stephen to death. He knows what he is talking about.

Don’t know if my first comment went through but wow we must watch to make sure our zeal is in line with the truth
