Jesus stands at the door to our heart. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus has defeated death.
Do we see that?
When we do, nothing will ever be the same again.
When you really see Jesus, I defy you to doubt Him.
The news that Yeshua [Jesus] was alive and resurrected began to spread among His followers. At first with hesitation, but then with enthusiasm. Even His disciples did not believe the first reports, and Thomas demanded proof.
Wherever people are confronted with the reality of His resurrection, their lives are transformed. In fact, that same transforming experience can be yours today. As you see in John 20:19–31 the changes that took place in the lives of people, ask yourself, “Have I personally met the risen Messiah? Has He changed my life?”
Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Messiah.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.” Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” Thomas answered him, “My Master and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.
