Κύριε Ἰησοῦ Χριστέ, Υἱέ τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἐλέησόν με τὸν ἁμαρτωλόν
Translated from the Greek: “Master Jesus the Messiah, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner”
I’m shouting it out, pleading for mercy. Jesus came and died for me on the cross. Jesus came to show mercy.
- Jesus rose from the dead into an incorruptible body.
- Jesus ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God as King of God’s country.
- Jesus reigns with God.
Jesus gives us the power of His Holy Spirit. We need to shout it out. We need to plead for mercy. Jesus gives it to us. Now that is some good news.
I’m shouting it out! Jesus is merciful.
What is our response to God’s amazing mercy?
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
Romans 12:1 — 1 (NASB)
Thanks for sharing the song and sermon. A great start to the day and weekend. God bless!
