Am I in a war? Is this a battle? Yes, it is. Jesus knows it is true. I must take a side. It must be the side of Jesus. There is no “neutral ground”. Either I am for Jesus or I am against Him. I don’t get to “not choose”. That isn’t an option.
How many times do I think, I’ll just sit this one out? Too many. I am quiet. I don’t say anything. I think I just won’t rock to boat. I won’t bring Jesus into this one.
Has Jesus won the victory? Yes! Jesus has. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, He has defeated Satan and death.
Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.
Hebrews 2:14–15 (NASB)
Jesus knows what we are thinking. There is no hiding. Jesus will shine the light on our indifference. We must make a choice.
Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, Any country in civil war for very long is wasted. A constantly squabbling family falls to pieces. If Satan cancels Satan, is there any Satan left? You accuse me of ganging up with the Devil, the prince of demons, to cast out demons, but if you’re slinging devil mud at me, calling me a devil who kicks out devils, doesn’t the same mud stick to your own exorcists? But if it’s God’s finger I’m pointing that sends the demons on their way, then God’s kingdom is here for sure.
“When a strong man, armed to the teeth, stands guard in his front yard, his property is safe and sound. But what if a stronger man comes along with superior weapons? Then he’s beaten at his own game, the arsenal that gave him such confidence hauled off, and his precious possessions plundered. This is war, and there is no neutral ground. If you’re not on my side, you’re the enemy; if you’re not helping, you’re making things worse.
Luke 11:17-23 (The Message Bible)

Good point that not choosing isn’t an option.

We must not downplay the reality of Spirit warfare!

Amen! We definitely have reached the point of no surrender to demonic forces. They have for way too long eaten away at the fabric that made America a great nation. Now the lines have been drawn because they can no longer confuse us with their lies. But only through the blessed Jesus on the Cross are we assured they lost long ago.
