If we don’t believe what we read in the Bible, how will we believe when Jesus actually talks to us?
This is a truly relevant question for us, “the religious”. Jesus is challenging us. Do we hear Him? Are we sure? How are we sure, we are sure?
What did Jesus say? Jesus is sitting at the right hand of the Father. He still speaks to us. Are we listening? Prayer is more about listening than talking and complaining to God.
God’s goal for us is to listen and hear his son speak. God’s goal is for us to be obedient.
Jesus is challenging us. May I hear Him now.

We’re in training! I’m studying Revelation through the end of this year. Wow so many new revelations as I seek His Face!
After focusing on this verse, it’s becoming clearer about our “training” in the subsequent verses:
“When He (the Lamb) broke open the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour [in awe of God’s impending judgment].” Revelation 8:1 AMP
“Be still and KNOW I AM GOD.” Ps 46:10
“For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.” Isaiah 62:1
“Be silent, Oh all flesh, before the Lord: for He is raised up out of His Holy habitation.” Zec 2:13
But we really should go back into God’s intent for Adam and Eve. Fellowship! And that involves listening not just speaking….
