I’ve loved you the way my Father has loved me. Make yourselves at home in my love. If you keep my commands, you’ll remain intimately at home in my love. That’s what I’ve done—kept my Father’s commands and made myself at home in his love.

Jesus, the Messiah, is all about love. We all want to be at home. It was in love that God, the Father, sent his Son to the world to save us from missing God’s goal for our life (aka sin).
It all starts with the love the Father shown to Jesus. Jesus has taken that love and given it to me. I know how to love because of Jesus. Ah, it is great to be home!
How do we keep ourselves in the love of Jesus? Jesus loves us the way the Father loves him. It is all about action. Jesus has given me certain commandments. My job is to focus on keeping the commands of Jesus.
- Jesus has shown us the way to love.
- Of course, it is not how we would naturally do things.
- I have seen that my natural ability to love has been downright awkward and inconsistent.
- Jesus is filling me with a love that is from God.
Now that is some good news. Jesus is the way to love. In our obedience, we enter love. w00t!
Good point. Jesus is the way to being at home in His love.

Would I be right to say that one of God’s love language is ABSOLUTE OBEDIENCE to him?

Love is demonstrated in obedience. Yes, that is it.

Amen to this post. Jesus is the motivation of why I love also, and the example of how to love
