Have you not known? Have you not heard? Yahweh [The Lord] is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for Yahweh [the Lord] shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:28-31

Some days I get home and I am tired. My energy is gone. Not much left. I get tired. We all do. Sometimes it doesn’t even take an entire day. Sometimes we get up tired.

I must be careful not to project my humanity on God. God is God. He has always been. God created everything. God will never, ever grow tired. I can’t understand that, but I know it to be true.

So, when does God get tired? Never!

God’s goal: God wants us to walk in power and not grow weary. God wants us be full of energy, just like God is full of energy.

Good news: We have the power of God. We have the power that raised Jesus from the dead into an incorruptible body. We have been given the power of the Holy Spirit. That is amazing when we realize it. That is energizing when we act on it.
