God is not over the hill. God is not past His prime. He is God. He is great. He is good.

I know I am at the point where I may be over the hill. There are things I used to do but just cannot anymore. I am okay with that. I have new limits. I can now focus on other pursuits.

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus the Messiah [Christ] our Master [Lord], be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. [1]

Jude 24-25

God is the same today as He was yesterday. God will be the same tomorrow. God always has been. God always will be. God is!!

The God who created this universe is our Father. Nothing is impossible with Him. Everything is possible with Him.

Is God eternal in nature?

The word eternal means “everlasting, having no beginning and no end.” Psalm 90:2 tells us about God’s eternality: “Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”

  • Since human’s measure everything in time, it is very hard for us to conceive of something that had no beginning, but has always been, and will continue forever.
  • However, the Bible does not try to prove God’s existence or His eternality, but simply begins with the statement
  • “In the beginning God…” (Genesis 1:1), indicating that at the beginning of recorded time, God was already in existence.
  • From duration stretching backward without limit to duration stretching forward without limit, from eternal ages to eternal ages, God was and is forever.

Good news: We can count on God. He has always existed and will always exist. His promises are true.
