Jesus, the Messiah, and my Master, walks over to me. He reaches out His hand. Slowly He wipes away my tears. He dries them off very carefully. No more mourning. No more crying. No more pain. That is all in the past.

  • The new plan has kicked in.
  • Jesus is making everything according to the new plan.
  • His goal and His strategy is now the order of the day.
  • Not there yet but closer every day.

Jesus is in control. He is in power and will bring every aspect of the plan to a close. He executes every detail. No worry or concern.

I can count on it. It is a fact. I can write it down for He is faithful to bring it all to pass. The new plan is done.

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Behold, I’m making all things new!” And he says, “Write [what you’ve just heard], because these words are faithful and true.” And he said to me, “They have come into being! I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. To the person who is thirsting I’ll give as a gift [water] from the spring of the water of life [1]

Revelation 21:5-6 (Gundry Literal Translation)

People who live in modern cities do not think much about water, but this was a major concern in John’s Day. No doubt John himself, working in the Roman mines, had known the meaning of thirst. Tortured saints throughout the ages would certainly identify with this wonderful promise from the Lord. Free and abundant living water for all![2]

God is good. God is in a good mood. When we thirst for Him, He quenches our thirst. We have the water of life. Now that is some good news!
