J. Warner Wallace is an American homicide detective and Christian apologist. Wallace is a Senior Fellow at the Colson Center for Christian Worldview and an Adjunct Professor of Apologetics at Biola University in La Mirada, California. He has authored several books, including Person of Interest, Cold-Case Christianity, God’s Crime Scene, and Forensic Faith, in which he applies principles of cold case homicide investigation to apologetic concerns such as the existence of God and the reliability of the Gospels.

Good post, Michael. J Warner Wallace is one of the key apologists of our day. There are a small group of people who clearly articulate defense of the gospel and take on the hard question related to God and life.

I assume they wrote the gospels very early (regardless what academics might speculate), but whatever oral tradition was involved the Holy Spirit was there to preserve the true account of the events.
