Jesus challenges me to have courage and to not be afraid. That is God’s goal for me, every day.
I must wake up thankful and anticipating what Jesus will do. Jesus has plans for me that I don’t even understand.
Boldness is his way. Jesus sees what God is doing and does only that. That is what Jesus wants for me as well.
May I be bolder today.
May I see only what Jesus wants and have the courage to do what he commands me to do.
Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.”
Jesus wants me to ask the Father. I should not be shy. In fact, boldness helps. If what I ask for is consistent with God’s principles for His World (Kingdom), asked in His name and His will, He will give it to me.
God delights in giving me what He has in heaven. It tickles Him pink!!!
Wow, what joy that is when it happens.
This is what I want you to do: Ask the Father for whatever is in keeping with the things I’ve revealed to you. Ask in my name, according to my will, and he’ll most certainly give it to you. Your joy will be a river overflowing its banks! John 16:24
The apostles had already received the power of the Holy Spirit after Jesus was raised from the dead and ascended to Heaven to rule with His Father. The were arrested when a crippled man was healed. They were released from jail and warned not to talk about Jesus. The were bold beyond believe already.
Yet, they prayed for more boldness and fearless courage. And God gave it to them.
God’s goal for us is to have fearless confidence. Jesus has given us the power of the Holy Spirit.
We may think we have enough. We don’t. May God give us more. May God give it to us now.
“And now they’re at it again! Take care of their threats and give your servants fearless confidence in preaching your Message, as you stretch out your hand to us in healings and miracles and wonders done in the name of your holy servant Jesus.” (Acts 4:29 MSG)
