Love

I watched what my father did. I now see so many of his traits and expressions as my own. In some ways, I can’t seem to help it. It just happens.

I need to leave that world behind and watch what Jesus is doing. Jesus is my Master. God is my heavenly Father. They are my role models.

It is clear that they are all about love. That is all that God focuses on. God’s world is built on love. It starts with the love of God and continues with the love of everyone else that I can.

How does Jesus love me?

Is Jesus’ love timid and cautious?

Jesus shows me extravagant, over the top love. The love of Jesus is stunning. There is nothing like it.

I need to love like Jesus does. That is all there is to it. I don’t now but God has given me power in the Holy Spirit. God can through me. It is all about Jesus.

Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how the Messiah loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.
