Jesus the Messiah supremely displays God’s patient character in his work of salvation. The patience of Jesus the Messiah is seen in his relationships with people and in his perseverance through trial and suffering to death.
As a disciple of the Messiah I am called to demonstrate patience in all my relationships and circumstances. Jesus has shown me His mercy. I must show patience to all I have a relationship with as well.
That is the way of Jesus.
Patience leads to salvation.
Jesus the Messiah’s patience brings about God’s salvation

Jesus shows us all His perfect patience. Jesus wants us all to come to God. God is so merciful to me. It is stunning. I am overwhelmed by it because I certainly don’t deserve it.
1 Timothy 1:16 (NASB) — Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus the Messiah might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

2 Peter 3:15 (NASB) — And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you.
