Miracles Happen

Jesus, the Messiah and our Master, challenges to understand what is remarkable about this powerful life in the Spirit of God. It is not about miracles. It is all about knowing and acting on God being in charge. That is the big deal.

God is God. God is great. It is all about God. There is nothing else. That is the only thing that should give us pleasure. Jesus reminds us all the time that the only thing he did is what he saw God doing. It is all about obedience.

Jesus said, “I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. See what I’ve given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you—that’s the agenda for rejoicing.
