Do I have my feet on firm spiritual ground? Or am I just seeking popular wisdom?
God has plenty of wisdom to share with me. It doesn’t go out of date. His word is good forever. The wisdom God gives me may not be popular. It will be right however.
I have sat through lots of seminars over the years. Some of it I am sure is high priced. I have noticed that it gets out of date pretty soon. Then another “hot shot” comes on the scene. God’s wisdom is not that way. God’s wisdom never goes out of date.
God’s goal for us is that we have His wisdom. We have to have our feet on firm ground and understand the basics that God has in mind for us.
We, of course, have plenty of wisdom to pass on to you once you get your feet on firm spiritual ground, but it’s not popular wisdom, the fashionable wisdom of high-priced experts that will be out-of-date in a year or so. ~Apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 2:6)

Michael, my long running prayer request, whenever anyone asks is for wisdom and discernment. I desire God’s wisdom above all else. When I don’t heed His wisdom, life gets way more difficult! Wise people seek wise people, thank you for sharing the wisdom God gives you!

Thanks, Michael. This post reminded me of my long career at Kodak. Every few years some new “hotshot” business philosophy rolled down from upper management and we all had to do the dance for a short period until enthusiasm faded. It was laughable.
