God’s Blessings
God’s good word to us is constant. There are no ups and downs with his love. The message of Jesus is clear and on target.
If I hear conflicting messages, it isn’t God. On that I can be sure.
- I will stick with God’s good word.
- I cannot let go.
- I will not let go.
I bless Yahweh [the Lord] who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I have set Yahweh [the Lord] always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.

Last night I woke up around 1:00 AM. There was a story from the Old Testament on my heart. I had to get my bible and read it. What a blessing that was. This happens regularly now. Many times, questions I have been pondering are answered in the night. God is good.
Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 8:3 to defeat Satan. Feeding on and obeying God’s Word is more important than consuming physical food. In fact, it is our food. It can be more important than sleep.
- Deuteronomy 8:3 — “He humbled you and let you be hungry and fed you with manna which you did not know, nor did your fathers know, that He might make you understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh.
- Isaiah 55:2–3 — “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And delight yourself in abundance. “Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, according to the faithful mercies shown to David.
- Matthew 4:4 —But Jesus answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ ”

Yes! Excellent but simple point Michael. We must cling to the Word of God like the Bereans did; in this we are led by His Truth away from what may deceive us.
