We miss God’s goal for our life. We want to be God and decide what to do. There is a terrible price to pay for that arrogance.

There is good news. Jesus paid the price for us. Jesus gave his life as a sacrifice for us so we would not have to pay the price for disobedience. But it doesn’t end there. Jesus rose from the grave, defeating death, ascended to heaven and is seated right next to God. Jesus is in control. Jesus is the Messiah.
