Taking God Seriously
Jesus demands that we take His way seriously. There is nothing frivolous about it at all.
My job, my mission, is to show others His way. Jesus is King of God’s country. Jesus is in control. Jesus is my Master. God has anointed Jesus to serve in this role and is the Messiah. I must lead others to this understanding.
Later on Jesus would say, as He rose to Heaven, to make disciples of all nations. That is how we find honor in His world (Kingdom). Am I making disciples? Not as much as I should. I need to take that seriously.
May I take Jesus seriously. May I do so today, right now.
